Ashraf Lotfy, Sales Manager at EgyGab Real Estate Development, on how trust is built before it’s ever spoken
Some salespeople sell what’s in front of them. Others sell because they’re convinced of what’s behind them. Ashraf Lotfy, Sales Manager at EgyGab Real Estate Development — the company behind projects in the North Coast — told Proplix, in a candid conversation, how he built his own conviction in the company he represents, and how he passes it on to clients without needing to talk them into it.

Why He’s Stayed with EgyGab Until Now
We asked him: if a friend asked why he chose to stay with EgyGab until now, what would he say?
“I’d tell him I’ve been at the company for around 8 years now. What I’ve gained from EgyGab — first, it’s a huge school. You learn sales skills, how to sit with a client in a certain way, and you benefit from those conversations in more ways than one overall. The really big point is that the developer and company owner comes from a very respectable family in real estate development. It’s a company with a track record of over 50 years, working across more than one field: education, industry, agriculture, and food. So, it’s a company with huge credibility, and that’s the most important point I can talk about — credibility. When they say they’ll deliver at a certain time, they actually deliver then, or maybe before. That’s a huge point — it gives the salesperson working there the confidence to sell while feeling reassured.”
An answer that keeps circling back to one word: credibility. Not just the project’s credibility, but the parent company’s entire track record, before it’s even about one specific project.
If EgyGab Were Just One Project, not a Company?
We asked him: if EgyGab were just one project, not a full company, would he still love it the same way?
“Yes, of course.”
A short answer, but one that confirms his loyalty isn’t to the company’s size or history alone — it’s to the core of how it operates.
The Proudest Moment
We asked him about the moment he felt proudest presenting EgyGab in front of a client:
“When I sell a client an off-plan unit, and I stay with him until he receives it. That’s the moment that makes me really happy — that I kept my word with the client, because I told him he’d receive it at that time, and he actually did receive that unit.”
His pride isn’t in the moment of the sale itself — it’s in the moment the promise is fulfilled, months or years later. That turns a sale from a single transaction into a long-term commitment.
Why Trust EgyGab?
We asked him: if a client asked why they should trust EgyGab — and he’s speaking to them as a person standing in front of them, not as a salesperson — what would he say?
“I think trust comes from a lot of things. First, credibility in how they deal with people, and credibility with deadlines more than anything — and not just the delivery date. For example, for us, as any salesperson, a really important point is the money that’s owed to a person. They’re among the very respectable companies when it comes to that. That gives an extra layer of confidence — the salesperson is always reassured that his due right won’t be lost, and that it’s there on time.”
A notable point: he doesn’t limit trust to delivery alone — he extends it to the company’s commitment toward its own sales team. A salesperson’s trust in their company reflects onto the client’s trust in them, the same principle that comes up again and again in real estate buying tips in Egypt for any buyer looking for a developer they can rely on.
The Hardest Objection He’s Faced
We asked him about the hardest question or objection he’s faced from a client talking about EgyGab, and how he handled it:
“The point that scares any client, or the objection a client always tends to fear, is that the company might not deliver its project. I’ve attended more than 4 projects — all off-plan, all just land at the start — and I saw them being built, and I saw them being handed over to clients. That’s a point a client might be afraid of, but I can talk to him about it and give him the evidence that reassures him he really will receive it — not just telling him, ‘No, don’t worry about your money.’”
He doesn’t answer fears with verbal reassurance — he answers them with eyewitness testimony. He saw it himself, from bare land to handover, and that’s a stronger weapon than any marketing talk. It’s the same credibility that shapes how people compare the best North Coast compounds before deciding where to buy.

Would Visitors Notice a Difference at the Exhibition?
The last question was about the exhibition: if EgyGab moved to a different booth, would visitors notice a difference in how they’re received?
“No, I don’t think so. Of course, not — and we see that at most exhibitions, whether in Egypt or abroad.”
A confident answer that the quality of how clients are treated isn’t tied to a booth’s location — it’s a consistent approach that repeats wherever the company is.
